Terms of Service with Make-Ups and Cancellations

Swim Baby Swim Cleveland's Absence and Makeup Policy


Consistency is crucial to not only the learning process, but also the retention of those learned skills. Bringing your child for every lesson will increase the rate of progress and retention of skills. 

Any lessons canceled due to pool closures, inclement weather, or an emergency from US will be rescheduled or credited to your account.

 If you miss your regularly scheduled group lesson for any reason (illness, injury, vacation, etc.), will the per month plan theres NO MAKEUPS!

With our new subscriptions plans you may reschedule the lesson within 30 days of the absence. There is a limit of 1 lesson per month to reschedule without a fee. You may reschedule additional makeup classes within 30 days for a $15 fee per class. Credits are not given for a child’s absence, including vacations, injury, or illness.

Private lessons may be made up if a 12-hour notice of the absence is provided. Make-up classes for private lessons cannot be guaranteed and must be scheduled through the aquatics directors. 1 Make is given PER 4 lessons with a Package.
Program Policies

Private Lesson Package Expiration:

4‑Lesson Package: expires 5 weeks from first lesson

10‑Lesson Package: expires 12 weeks from first lesson

20‑Lesson Package: expires 24 weeks from first lesson

Families may transfer private lesson packages to other families. (Ohio Rise families are not allowed to transfer, pause, or extend lesson time frames.)

No refunds for any reason. Even in a event of death,injuries, or even life changes. 

No make‑up lessons for group lessons or one private drop-in/casual lesson. (unless the the family is a member)

$15 day/time change fee applies for all lesson types.

Private lesson make‑up policy (packages 4+):

4‑Lesson Package: 1 make‑up lesson

10‑Lesson Package: 2 make‑up lessons

20‑Lesson Package: 4 make‑up lessons

Make‑up lessons are not considered extra lessons.

Mismanagement of Classes: Excessive tardiness, violence toward staff, threats, or failure to follow our micro‑location rules will result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of all remaining lessons.

No refunds for any reason.

No make-up lessons for group lessons.



Swim Baby Swim Cleveland LLC is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

A parent/guardian must remain in the facility for all lessons involving minors.

Cancellations require 12-hour notice. NO CALL/NO SHOW will forfeit your lessons.
Absences and reschedules:

One lesson can be rescheduled per month within 30 days of the absence.
Additional absences can be rescheduled for a $15.00 fee per class.
Absences may not be credited towards the next month’s tuition.
Eligible make-ups are valid while you are enrolled. All unused make-ups expire when you withdraw and are not carried over upon re-enrollment.
We do not guarantee the same teacher, time or student ratio for group lesson makeups.
 

Prolonged Absences and Family Holidays

If you know in advance that your child will miss a number of lessons, or if your child will be out for an extended time due to illness or vacation, we recommend that you suspend your lessons. The remaining balance will be held on your Swim Baby Swim Cle's account for 6 months. If this 6-month period occurs during the Winter Break, it will be extended to 8 months. No refunds will be issued. If you suspend your lessons for any reason, we cannot guarantee the same swim schedule or instructor when you are ready to return. We will do our best to accommodate you; however, some instructors and certain hours are difficult to get.

Please be on time to your class.
Please pay what you owe in full before your classes.
There will be NO REFUNDS.
